About IHRA:
IHRA was created by the Islamabad Healthcare Regulation Act of 2018 and manages Islamabad’s public and private healthcare facilities. By establishing and enforcing Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for healthcare institution licensure, its main objective is to improve healthcare services.
Categories of Assessors and Eligibility:
This pool is open to professionals from a variety of healthcare specialties. The specific categories, criteria for education, and experience are listed below:
Clinical Specialist:
- Education: MBBS/BDS with FCPS or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration with PMDC.
- Experience: 8 years after being qualified.
Homeopathic Physician:
- Qualification: Homeopathic Bachelor/Diploma (BHMS/DHMS).
- Registration: The National Council for Homeopathy is the registration name.
- Experience: 8 years after being qualified.
Tabbib:
- Qualification: BEM/FTJ Bachelor/Diploma in Tibb.
- Registration: Tibb National Council registration.
- Experience: 8 years after being qualified.
Nurse:
- Qualification Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a post-graduate degree in nursing.
- Experience: 8 years in a hospital following qualification.
Pharmacist:
- Qualification requirement: A B-Pharmacy or Pharm-D degree is required.
- Experience: Following qualification, 8 years of experience, ideally in a hospital.
Engineer in Electromedicine:
- Qualification Requirments: A bachelor’s degree in biomedical, electrical, mechanical, or electromedical engineering is required.
- Experience: 8 years following qualification; hospital equipment management experience is preferred.
Technician in the Laboratory:
- Qualification requirement: A bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology (MLT) is required.
- Experience: 8 years of experience after qualification.
Speech and Physiotherapist:
Qualifications requirements: Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Experience: 8 years of experience after qualification
Terms & Conditions of IHRA Job:
- Applicants must be dedicated to their position with outstanding communication skills.
- The Material Safety Data Sheet(MSDS) will be used to train the chosen assessors.
- Applications must be sent by courier and contain a resume, attested copies of one’s CNIC, and certificates of education and work experience.
- Indicate the category you are applying for on the application envelope.
- Applications that are not comprehensive will not be taken into review.
- Applications will be accepted all year round for the following hiring phases, although the initial application period is 15 days after the advertisement.
- The chosen assessors will remain on the IHRA panel for one year, with the possibility of an extension with board permission.
- Assessors will be hired as needed; there won’t be a retainer cost.
